When you’re just starting out, a small site can be the quickest, most powerful way to launch your business online in under a week (or in a day 😲) — and when used correctly, it can make you thousands of dollars way before you’re internet famous.
My Simple Website Money Making Formula
There are three main components to my website money making formula:
freebie + email capture + 2x/monthly emails = clients, referrals, and introductions
The 3 pieces are:
Freebie or Leadmagnet - a downloadable resource, guide, audio recording, or even a discount on your products or services (see mine here)
Email capture - the process of requiring someone’s email address so you can send them their freebie
Regular email messages - email communication from you to the emails you’ve captured telling stories, inspiring them, or solving problems for them
Here’s why all three pieces matter:
No freebie means people don’t have an easy way to experience you or your business for free. Solution? Create a freebie.
A freebie without the email capture won’t give you a list of anyone to regularly connect and follow-up with. Solution? Capture email addresses.
An email list without regular messages from you won’t help start any conversations. Solution? Email regularly.
